6/25/11- The scorpions didn't bring
there A game today. With 9 players
available to play
the Scorpions were out played the
game was lost in the second quarter with
5 un answered goals. The
Scorpions came back the second half and
won 2-1 but still lost the game
8-3.. Bryce C. Had his first goal of the
season the rookie forward flick a pass
over the keepers head and in the goal.
It was a well placed ball congrat to
Bryce for his outstanding performance.
6/18/11- A great day for the 160
plus fans that supported the
Scorpions as they played another
outstanding game with a win 6-4 over
Turlock
6/11/11- It was an amazing night for
the Sacramento Scorpions. With a crowd
of over 250 screaming fans, the
scorpions rock the house. With
the score tied in the last 3 minutes of
play Scorpions midfielder Shawn Boyet
hit the game winner to put the Scorpions
up 4-3. Now all they had to do was
defend for the final 2 minutes.
Soccer world called time out and place
their strongest offensive players on the
field while Coach Powers put his
strongest defensive team on the field.
Soccer world got a few shots off but
goal keeper Andrew Kelley was there to
save the day. Scorpions win there
first home game 4-3 an exciting game for
everyone in the arena.

for the Scorpions makes the PASL pro
team the Stockton Cougars
10/10/10 - Scorpions take a break for
the winter.
8/18/10 - Scorpion
take second place in league
7/17/10 -
What a
game! The scorpions won their final game
against Cabernet Pumas 9-3 This put the
scorpions in second place. This means
that the team has a chance to go to the
National finals in Denver.
7/7/10 - The Scorpions had a big
double header. Their first game was away
against Cabernet
where they won 9-8.
The then had to come home and play Santa
Clara
where they won again 13-3. It was a
Great day for the Scorpions
club.
6/26/10
- Another great game played buy
the scorpions. The scorpions were losing
3-2 in the last 6 minutes of the game
when Jason Martin took the ball down the
right side of the floor with a sliding
shoot put it pass the goal keeper to tie
the game 3-3 with two minutes left. The
Scorpions then went on the power play
and could not find the back of the net
when time expired.
6/12/10
- Scorpions played away this
pass weekend were they meet Azteca All
stars. It was a battle down to the very
last couple of seconds where the
scorpions got a last minute goal to tie
the game at 5 a piece. With a few
seconds left on the clock the scorpions
struck a shot that just barely went wide
and hit the post and came out. A very
exciting game for fans to watch. Next
week the game come to Off the wall where
the field is much bigger. This should
help the scorpions with their vicious
attack.
5/29/10
- Scorpions were on the road
this weekend to Chico to play the
Bigfoot. The game was physical straight
out the gate the hard hitting style of
the Chico team. The new players to the
scorpions were unsure about the physical
play. Coach Powers called a time out
just to settle the team down and to
introduce them to the PASL. Pat Powers
got the only goal of the game with a
stunning right foot shot that landed in
the left side netting. Chico went ahead
and scored 3 more with a final score of
6-1. Pat said "we played well had a lot
of shots we just couldn't find the back
of the net we will get them in two weeks
when we play them at home".
5/21/10 - Scorpions had their first game
of the 2010 summer season on Saturday
where they lost 11-4. The team went to
Sequoia with 10 players due to the
graduation weekend. Owner Airrick Harvey
said that they had to pull a couple of
player from their developmental squad of
u18. We felt that we had a few players
that could play at that level so we
pulled a defender and a goal keeper for
the game. Both players stepped up to the
plate and did their best. They just need
more experience and they will fit in
just nice.
5/09/10 - Head coach Pat powers Head to
L. A. for football tryouts with Las
Vegas Pro Team.
5/07/10 - Scorpions Head to Cal
Poly for 7 aside tournament.
4/10/10 - Conner Boyet heads to
Humboldt to finish his college career
after the 2010 summer season. |
